Oncology Support

Care Alongside Your Cancer Treatment

Acupuncture is a well-established complementary therapy for people going through cancer treatment. The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), the leading U.S. body for cancer care guidelines, recommends acupuncture for cancer-related pain, chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, and cancer-related fatigue.

I hold advanced oncology acupuncture certification from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and I work alongside your existing medical team, not in place of it.

Cancer Symptoms I Help

Nausea & Treatment Side Effects

Chemotherapy and other cancer treatments often bring nausea, vomiting, and other side effects that are hard to manage with medication alone. Multiple clinical trials support acupuncture as an add-on therapy for reducing chemotherapy-induced nausea, particularly when combined with standard antiemetic care.

Pain

Cancer-related pain (including joint pain from aromatase inhibitors, post-surgical pain, and neuropathy) is one of the conditions with the strongest evidence behind acupuncture in oncology care. It's often used to reduce reliance on pain medication or manage pain that medication alone hasn't fully addressed.

Fatigue

Cancer-related fatigue is one of the most common and persistent side effects of treatment, and one of the hardest to treat with medication. Acupuncture is recommended in NCCN guidelines as a treatment option for fatigue after cancer treatment.

Expert Oncology Support

I hold a specialized certification in oncology acupuncture, providing a comprehensive approach to cancer care. I focus on holistic support to help patients manage treatment side effects, reduce pain, and maintain a sense of balance and peace throughout your healing journey.

Working Alongside Your Care Team

I coordinate care with your oncology team rather than working in isolation: acupuncture is meant to support what your doctors are already doing, not replace it. We'll talk through your treatment timeline, your current symptoms, and what a realistic plan looks like for you.

Comprehensive Care for Your Health

Oncology support is a core focus of my practice, but not the only one. I also work with patients on women's health, pelvic health, and everyday pain, stress, and sleep issues. Explore the full range of services, or book a visit to talk through what's going on for you.
